No Planned Litters for 2026
Bringing a Golden Retriever into your life is a meaningful decision, and we believe the process should feel just as thoughtful as the outcome.
At LMU Goldens, we take time to get to know the families who reach out, learning about their home, their lifestyle, and what they are hoping for in a companion.
Our goal is not simply to place a puppy, but to create a connection that feels natural and lasting.
The first step in our process is completing an application.
This allows us to learn more about you, your experience with dogs, and the environment your future puppy will be joining.
Submitting an application does not reserve a puppy, but it begins the conversation.
Once your application has been reviewed and approved, you will be invited to move forward.
To confirm your place, a $100 non-refundable commitment deposit is required. This secures your position on our list for a future litter.
Before moving forward, we encourage families to review the agreements that guide our process and ensure clarity for both sides.
Bringing a Golden Retriever into your life is a meaningful and lasting commitment.
At LMU Goldens, each puppy is raised with intention, care, and a deep respect for the breed. From the earliest days in our home to the moment they leave for yours, their well-being and development are always at the center of what we do.
Our puppies are placed with limited AKC registration at $2,000.
Full registration may be considered on an individual basis, with an additional fee.
Each puppy goes home with the support and foundation they need to transition comfortably into family life.

When a litter is born, families on our list are notified.
At that time:

• Deposits are applied toward the total puppy price
• Families begin receiving updates as the puppies grow
This stage allows you to follow your puppy’s early development and begin preparing for their arrival.
Puppy selection takes place at 6 weeks old.
We have found that allowing families to meet the puppies in person creates the most natural and meaningful connection.
Each puppy has their own personality, and this moment allows you to choose the one that feels right for your home.
When the time comes, your puppy will be ready to transition from our home to yours.
Each family receives guidance, support, and resources to help make this transition feel smooth and comfortable.
From feeding to early routines, we are here to help you feel confident as you begin life together.
Our connection does not end when your puppy goes home.
We remain available as a resource throughout your dog’s life, offering support, guidance, and a continued connection to the place where your puppy began.
If you feel aligned with the way our puppies are raised and cared for, we invite you to take the first step.
The right puppy, placed in the right home, is always worth the time it takes.
